Prints For Your Walls | Texas Portrait Photographer

Ok, so I totally understand that custom portraits are a pretty big investment.  Think of it like this…portraits can be handed down from generation to generation and completely cherished by family and friends… flat screens, phones, ipads will only last so long and fade with new advances in technology.  If you’re totally in love with a photographer’s work and choose them to document your life why would you only want to purchase 5×7’s and 8×10’s or even just the disc of images?  Be proud of you, your family – let your portraits decorate your walls.  Let guests walk into your home and gasp and be in total asw at your wall art.  Have your portraits printed by your photographer who uses a professional print lab that will provide you with gorgeous, archival quality prints for your family.  Don’t let your portraits sit on a disc that might become obsolete in just a few years.  Enjoy the work your photographer put into creating lasting memories for you.  That being said, imagine this is your sofa and you only order an 8×10 (a gift print or desk size print if you will).  There’s not much awe factor in an 8×10 over your couch is there?  Let your family stand out in your home!!  Let your family be the center of your home!

I hope this comparison of sizes helps a little when trying to decide on what size prints to order for your walls.  :) Bigger is just about always better!  Thanks to Tina Boyd for the very useful template too!
