I LOVE maternity portrait sessions… especially when the dad comes along and participates! This is such a wonderful time to celebrate in life, and those 9 months go so quickly. The essence of each mama-to-be I shoot is absolutely beautiful and timeless. I hope to make every momma I photograph feel so special and beautiful during this amazing time in their life.
Meet Josh and Stefanie! Aren’t they a beautiful couple?! Long story short…. they’re childhood sweethearts! Love it! AND I went to high school with Stefanie, and for a short time, when Josh and I were 3, we were next door neighbors!! What a small world! So, when I showed up for their session I was joking with Stefanie about not remembering people from high school (our 10 year reunion is this summer – gasp!!), and asked if Josh went to school with us and if I knew him. He was like yeah we know each other… and I bet I turned bright red in embarrassment because I had no idea who he was – I felt horrible!! After I stood there feeling like a dummy he tells me that we were neighbors, and the light went off in my head!! I knew exactly who he was! It’s so cool to get to work for people that have been a part of my life at some point. Okay, okay, now onto their session… they rocked the camera for sure… I had so many favorite images from their session.
