How amazing is this…

I wake up on Monday after a fairly eventful weekend with a pretty amazing little surprise.

Let’s start with the weekend….  Beautiful bridal session was scheduled for Saturday, and after a few days of some heavy rain and lots of prayer that it would stop in time for the bridal session, we had some pretty amazing clouds and sunlight!!  However, in the middle of the session I get a call from my mom that my 2 year old broke his arm.  I’ll admit, I wasn’t that shocked because he is so active I knew it was only a matter of time before he finally broke a bone.  So, in a little bit of shock I decided that they’re about an hour away from the hospital, and I’m already out at the session and it’s going great so we’re going to finish up before I make the long haul back into the city.  As soon as the session was over I raced back into Blanco to pick up my littlest one because she was probably going to want to eat, and then we raced into town to meet my baby boy at the ER.  I showed up and he was just about ready to go with a brand new shiny fiberglass splint and a big smile on his face.  Who has a smile on their face when they have a broken arm?  He definitely takes after me in the pain tolerance department!  Now the real trick is going to try to keep him calm for the next few weeks so that his arm can heal!!  Ok, so now another job is added to my daily list, lol!  I hope his little arm heals quickly and he’s in as little pain as possible.
