Beautiful You: Maureen | Texas Portrait Photographer

Hello lovely lady!  I’ve been trying to get Maureen to let me photograph her for quite some time now.  She would always give me the typical, “I want to lose just a few more pounds of this baby weight!”  Seriously… she’s gorgeous, and I would tell all momma’s to take a day for themselves… get your hair and make-up professionally done, have a manicure and a pedicure, and then get in front of a camera lens.  It’ll make you feel like a rock star.  Every woman deserves to pamper themselves from time to time – don’t forget that!!   😉

Anyways, I was really wanting to play with OCF (off camera flash), but it had been raining so much that day that I sort of took a flash with me, but not a stand (clever right?).  Not to mention that it was very overcast and pretty dark when we finally had some kid free time to meet up.  So, when I used the flash I could only hold it out as far as my little arm (left arm) would stretch, and I even used a reflector while shooting with my right arm.  If only someone had a pull-back shot y’all could all be laughing at my ridiculousness!!  We pulled it off…. these are a few of my favorites… some are just natural and some have OCF.  Enjoy!!
